the willow connection, 2014

the willow connection is a water purifying system made through workshops.
During the workshop a series of baskets were woven and information was given about edible plants that could be grown inside of the basket.
The willow connection consists of alive- willow baskets that purifies the water it lives in.
During the time of the exhibition the baskets will evolve, the surroundings of the water also.
Nathalie Hunter will come at regular intervals to measure the changes by determining the plants that live close to the water.
This process will be noted through drawings and paintings.
